H-E-B Curbside vs In-Store Prices: Fees, Coupons and Checkout

H-E-B prices, promotions, inventory, and fulfillment availability are local. Select the store that will fulfill the order before recording either an online or in-store price.

H-E-B's published curbside policy uses a $35 basket minimum before taxes and before discounts, promotions, or coupons. Qualifying baskets have free pickup, while smaller baskets receive a $2.95 surcharge.

Fees and thresholds can change. Confirm the charge shown for the selected store and time slot before checkout instead of subtracting an old advertised amount from the basket.

Clip eligible digital coupons while signed in and confirm each discount in the online cart. H-E-B says paper in-store coupons are not accepted for curbside or delivery orders.

Weekly-ad pricing can depend on when the order is submitted, while other coupons may depend on the fulfillment date. Read the individual expiration rule before counting the savings.

Produce, meat, seafood, and other variable-weight items may be authorized at one amount and charged at another after picking. Compare the actual received weight and final extended price.

A substitution can change brand, size, count, unit price, and coupon eligibility. Record the replacement as a separate item instead of silently treating it as the requested product.

Normalize compatible products by ounce, fluid ounce, count, load, sheet, square foot, or pound. The unit price should use the price from the channel being evaluated and the quantity actually received.

Do not mix an in-store shelf price with a curbside fee or compare a curbside coupon against an in-store price unless the page clearly labels the scenario.
